The Viennese Sociolocial Association is a scientific non-profit association, established in Vienna (Austria) in 2016. Its aim is to promote sociology, including its relevant auxiliary sciences, in the scientific and practical fields. Its special intent is to strengthen the contacts, discussions and cooperations between all sociologists in Vienna and all other persons interested in sociology and to publicize sociological research to a wider public. She intends to realise these aims by organising guest lectures of notable sociologists from inland and abroad, workshops and conferences, by supporting scientific works and by editing a book series.
